NAEYC’s public policy work at the federal, state and local levels reflects the Association’s position statements, standards for programs, standards for teacher preparation programs, and other resources as well as research and evidence from the field. Our issue-driven advocacy is conducted directly with policymakers and through technical assistance, materials and other support to our affiliates and others working on shared public policy goals and efforts. Visit the NAEYC Website for more information about their Public Policy Background, Federal Action recommendations and how to stay informed!
In partnership with its parent organization, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), New Hampshire AEYC is committed to developing a system of early childhood care and education with appropriate regulatory, governance, finance, and accountability mechanisms.
To achieve these goals at the local, state, and federal level, NHAEYC members also believe that policy and funding decisions must be guided by principles of Excellence, Accountability, Equity, Access, and Diversity. NHAEYC Public Policy assists in the effort to supply access to information on these valuable topics.
